Joachim Pissarro is the Bershad Professor of Art History and Director of the Hunter College Galleries at Hunter College, New York. Also the great-grandson of the famous impressionist Camille Pissarro, Mr. Pissarro has followed his great-grandfather’s passion for the arts. He writes extensively on the arts, is the curator of many exhibitions, and also teaches and lectures. Joachim needed a web platform to not only share his many professional achievements with the world, but to give students and others with an interest in the arts access to his various writings and other projects.
